Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cube the sweet potato, toss with olive oil, and roast for 20 minutes.
Season the steak with salt and pepper.
Sear in a hot pan for 3-4 minutes per side for medium.
Rest the steak for 5 minutes.
Grill or roast the asparagus.
Slice the steak and serve with sweet potato and asparagus.
