Drain and rinse chickpeas. Pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
Toss chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Roast for 30-35 minutes, shaking the pan every 10 minutes, until very crispy.
Let cool completely — they will continue to crisp as they cool.
